The one manat banknote is dedicated to culture. The banknote has been printed on special paper with the size of 120 x 70mm. The front side features graphic reflections of Azerbaijan national musical instruments – Tar, Kamancha, and Daf. The background is enhanced with ancient carpet patterns of Azerbaijan. The back side of the banknote features maps, representing Azerbaijan’s integration into Europe, as well as Azerbaijan national ornaments.

5 manats

The five manats banknote is dedicated to writing and literature. The banknote has been printed on white paper with the size of 127 x 70mm. The front side of the banknote features literature personalities, ancient books, and a part from the state anthem. The back side of the banknote features maps, representing Azerbaijan’s integration into Europe, Azerbaijan’s development history – Qobustan rock hieroglyphs, Orhon-Yenisei alphabet, and our modern writing.

10 manats

The ten manats banknote is dedicated to history. The banknote has been printed on white paper with the size of 134 x 70mm. The front side of the banknote features Old Baku, Shirvanshahs Palace, and Maiden Tower with the old fortress walls on the background. The back side of the banknote features maps, representing Azerbaijan’s integration into Europe, and typical Azeri carpet ornaments.

20 manats

The twenty manat banknote is dedicated to Karabakh. The banknote has been printed on white paper with the size of 141 x 70mm. The front side of the banknote features symbols of power – sword, helmet, shield, and "Khari Bulbul" as the symbol of peace. The back side of the banknote features maps, representing Azerbaijan’s integration into Europe, and Azerbaijan national ornaments.

50 manats

The fifty manats banknote is dedicated to history and future. The banknote has been printed on white paper with the size of 148 x 70mm. The front side of the banknote features the example of future – stairs representing rising and development, the sun as the symber of power and light, chemical and mathematical symbols representing science. The back side of the banknote features maps, representing Azerbaijan’s integration into Europe, and ornaments of ancient Azeri carpets.

100 manats

The one hundred manats banknote is dedicated to economy and development. The banknote has been printed on white paper with the size of 155 x 70mm. The front side of the banknote features development from ancient times to present through architectural symbols, as well as symbols of Azerbaijan manta and economic development. The back side of the banknote features maps, representing Azerbaijan’s integration into Europe, as well as traditional Azerbaijan national ornaments.
